Hatmaker Week 4, January 2024: Dusty Rose

Hatmaker Week 4, January 2024: Dusty Rose

Posted by Mikael Einarsson on

Last week of January! We made it so far in 2024. Winter almost became spring in south of Sweden. Let's not talk about weather, unpredictable and manipulated as always. I have had a tough week, personally. Work is fine. But it did put me in a bit of a bad mood. Probably could have gotten more done, but there are several hats being finished next week. Luckily, I received several interesting custom orders. I can't wait to craft those hats. Something different and something to learn from. I like that.

This week I managed to finish this very beautiful Dusty Rose Ragnar Fedora. I love this blend of colors and this particular hat reminds me of Spring, and that's what we long for.

Some of my new felts have not arrived yet. Slight delay, from my part. I requested them to have a particular degree of stiffening to get the right fedora feel that I love. That was some time already, I should receive news of their arrival any time soon.

Thank you for keeping me busy with orders! Just love it and I hope you love my hats as well. Another record breaking financial month, it surely helps to keep developing the craft. Keep it up, then I am forced to hire help. Trust me, I do want to hire help.

Have a lovely Sunday evening!

Regards,
