Hatmaker Week 9, March 2024: Spring Season!

Hatmaker Week 9, March 2024: Spring Season!

Posted by Mikael Einarsson on

March is here and so is spring! One might hope at least. The weather is getting warmer in South of Sweden. I have successfully completed my three week training to become a part time fireman. Just waiting on the official response of the results and hopefully I can start part two of this course in May. Otherwise, that would wait until the Autumn.

I am back to full production of hats again. The effect of being away for three weeks is showing in this week blog post as I only have one hat to show you. Though, I have a many hats in the works and custom orders are being made. If you have received an email from me lately, then you know that I am working on your hat.

A lot is happening these coming weeks. I have to focus on a lot of personal things as those were also put asides during my weeks in training. Also, I need to renovate the kitchen along with the foundation of the house. Luckily, I do have a bit of help for that. It should not impact the production of hats too much. New felts and new machines are on the way. I am happy that the interest for the new felts is high. Already some customer orders have been placed.

I got to get back to work! Have a wonderful Sunday! Thank you for keeping me busy as well! Your orders are keeping this craft alive.

Regards,
